Sport has always been part of my life. As a kid, I was the one who ran outside between courses of Sunday family lunches just to move a little. Later in school, things didn’t change much — my classmates eventually stopped playing tag with me because I was either too fast to catch or caught them instantly. Don’t worry, I still had a happy childhood. ☺
Around that time, a classmate invited me to an afternoon training session at a nearby athletics track. I stayed — and from that moment on, everything changed. I’m still grateful to my friend Zsolti for that.
Of course, I tried several sports before fully committing to athletics around the age of 15. Since then, running has been a part of my everyday life. Alongside running, I also competed in triathlon and explored off-road disciplines like cross triathlon and duathlon. There are few things more beautiful than mountain sports — experiencing nature and becoming one with it. It may sound cliché, but it’s true. 😉
I originally studied humanities, then earned my coaching certification at the Hungarian University of Sports Science. But learning never stopped there. As a coach, I believe in continuous development and keeping my knowledge up to date — which is easier than ever today thanks to online courses and accessible research.
Over the years, I’ve mainly helped amateur athletes achieve their goals and dreams, while integrating sport into their daily lives in a healthy, sustainable, and injury-free way.
One of my greatest strengths is my ability to connect with athletes and adapt not only the training process but also the coach-athlete relationship to their individual needs. Perhaps that’s why I have many athletes I’ve been working with for years.
